The Department of Spanish Language and Literature offers a wide range of courses in Linguistics (with a special emphasis on the Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language), Translation, Spanish and Spanish American literature and Culture. All courses are taught and examined in Spanish. To graduate, our students have also to complete five courses related to linguistics, education, psychology as well as Greek literature and culture, chosen from those offered by other departments of the School of Philosophy, such as the Department of Greek Philology, the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology and the Department of History and Archeology.
